Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations

• Cultivate a culture of collaboration, safety, and excellence.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Enhance transparency and engagement through effective communication strategies.
• Lead employee investigations and manage disciplinary actions when required.
• Oversee employee off-boarding procedures and ensure proper data handling.

Compliance

• Assist in shaping HR strategies and setting organizational goals.
• Gather and analyze HR data, providing detailed reports.
• Ensure alignment of HR policies with legal standards and company practices.
• Manage performance evaluation processes for employees.
• Oversee employee leave programs, including FMLA.
• Maintain accurate employee records within Paylocity.
• Prepare necessary documentation for investigations, appeals, and hearings.
• Review and update the employee handbook to reflect current practices.
• Ensure compliance with EEO, AAP, FLSA, and other relevant regulations.
• Serve as a point of contact for workers’ compensation claims and incidents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in an HR setting.
• In-depth understanding of federal and state employment laws.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven capacity to multitask efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.
