Robert Half HR Solutions is currently partnering with a client in the West Metro Atlanta area that is looking to add an experienced and results-driven HR Director to their team. The HR Director will manage a team of 3 and will support 500+ employees across multiple states with a focus on streamlining processes, compliance, creating a performance management system, employee relations and retention. Recent experience utilizing Paylocity is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, and redundancy.
- Implement and streamline HR processes, creating a seamless, efficient infrastructure that keeps pace with organizational change.
- Successfully drive the introduction and uptake of a new performance management system across the organization.
- Manage compliance with all local, state, and federal laws for all our operations across multiple states.
- Drive employee retention by developing robust employee relations and engagement programs.
- Provide leadership to the HR team, manage 3 direct reports and instill a high-performance culture with a focus on teamwork, service excellence, and ownership for resolving customer issues.
The ideal HR Director will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions while ensuring compliance. They should be comfortable working in a people-focused role with a diverse range of responsibilities. Experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically dealing with multi-state labor laws and regulations, is a significant plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. Master’s degree or relevant HR certifications will be a plus.
- Proven experience as HR director with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in the HR field.
- Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HR systems and databases.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to direct and supervise.
- Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
