Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a leading construction organization to find a Senior Human Resources Business Partner based in Denver, Colorado. This role offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $145,000 annually and is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic HR initiatives and enhance the employee experience within a dynamic organization.
Position Overview
The Senior HR Business Partner serves as a strategic consultant, aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. Acting as both an employee champion and a change agent, this role involves developing and executing forward-looking HR strategies, addressing HR-related needs, and fostering collaboration across all levels of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership:
- Partner with and coach leaders to implement effective HR policies and practices that support business growth.
- Influence and develop HR strategies that enhance the employee experience and improve business performance.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to management and HR teams.
Employee Relations and Compliance:
- Address complex employee relations issues with consultation, facilitation, and resolution strategies.
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations, recommending appropriate actions.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
Performance Management and Workforce Planning:
- Guide managers on performance management, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Provide input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Identify and address training needs for teams and individuals.
Engagement and Retention:
- Drive employee engagement initiatives with a focus on culture and management development.
- Build morale and improve work relationships to increase productivity and retention.
HR Operations and Metrics:
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Use data and metrics to identify trends and develop strategies that anticipate business needs.
- Maintain business literacy regarding the organization’s financial position, culture, and competition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years partnering with leadership teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, including employee relations, talent management, and compliance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in analyzing HR data and delivering actionable insights.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on creating a positive work environment.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.
