Healthcare Talent Acquisition Partner


Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team for our client. This role involves collaborating with various hiring departments to identify, attract, and hire qualified nursing candidates for open positions within the institution. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for talent, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to providing a seamless recruitment experience.


Location: Dallas, TX

Remote/Onsite Expectation: Hybrid schedule dictated by business needs. Onsite presence is required for meetings, training, and interactions with hiring leaders.

Contract to Hire

Responsibilities:


  • Identify staffing needs by consulting with hiring managers and department leads.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to attract top-tier candidates.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and in-depth interviews to assess candidate fit and qualifications.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage the complete onboarding process for new and returning hires.
  • Ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Provide orientation and training support to new employees to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Utilize Pre-Check to conduct thorough background checks and license verifications.
  • Ensure compliance with all institutional and legal requirements during the background check process.
  • Process drug tests and reference checks for prospective employees.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Attend job fairs, career expos, and networking events to promote our client and attract potential candidates.
  • Use multiple recruitment systems and tools to track and manage the entire recruitment process from start to finish.


Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related field.
  • Ideally, 2 years of Healthcare Experience recruiting either RNs, Non-RN Healthcare Hospital roles required.
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with recruitment software and tools, including applicant tracking systems.
