Senior Controls Engineer

Duration & Travel:

• Based in Grand Rapids, MI area through June 2025.
• On-site in Atlanta, GA from June to December 2025 for installation and production support.
• Travel: Two weeks in GA with a weekend home.

Work Hours:

• 40-55 hrs/week for the first 6 months, increasing to 60-70 hrs during installation in GA.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with Allen Bradley, Fanuc Robots, and FactoryTalk View (FTView SE is a plus).
• Strong communication skills to update customers and teams, track issues, and ensure resolution.
• Ability to work collaboratively, lead tasks to completion, and share knowledge with team members.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and program controls systems (PLCs, HMIs, robotics).
• Create operation manuals and ensure equipment meets customer specifications.
• Perform startup, commissioning, and preventative maintenance.
• Provide technical support, training, and service documentation.
• Design and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and communication systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities.
• Professional demeanor, even under pressure.
