Our client, a successful CPG company, is looking for a National Sales Manager to join their team! The National Sales Manager position is responsible for the long term growth and retention of customer base. Also equally responsible for targeting high value potential customers for a long standing relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Foster positive relationships with our customers.
- Respond to customer needs.
- Grow business with current and new customers.
- Conduct reviews to ensure client satisfaction with products/services while meeting business requirements
- Identify opportunities, create and implement strategies and leverage all necessary sales tools and programs to optimize sales opportunities.
- Process and track requests for product samples.
- Assist Customer Service in resolving order fulfillment issues.
- Ensure that both short and long term strategies are developed and focus on significant opportunities.
- Work with customers and operations to plan and forecast sales volume.
- Negotiate and set pricing on an individual customer basis.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of product categories and services
- Respond back on daily requests through emails or calls regarding ship status, pricing, product availability.
- Work with VP and GM of sales to develop long term strategies and consistent sales/marketing message for customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years experience in sales management preferred.
- Experience in Grocery, Retail , CPG preferred.
- Strong team Skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple accounts.
- Ability to travel to meet with customers.
