NXTThing RPO is hiring a Contractor to assist our client place a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will collaborate cross-functionally to support their recruitment efforts both on the FTE and Contingent Workforce side. The specialist will also serve as an advocate between our company and potential candidates by providing high-quality and a welcoming interview experience. In addition, the role will own the background check process, immigration and play a key role into centralizing our contingent workforce program. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to handle sensitive and confidential information, handle simultaneous projects, and be ultra organized. This role is hybrid requiring 2 days/ week onsite.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all activities from scheduling to onboarding of FTE and Contingent Workers new hire, including interview scheduling (virtual and onsite), travel logistics and reimbursement, communication to candidates and hiring team, and offer letter process.
- Own the onboarding process from offer letter to HRIS and partnering with IT to create an optimal experience for all new hires.
- Play an integral role in centralizing our contingent workforce program through an MSP and continuous support of the program thereafter.
- Improve and manage our employee referral program including tracking and payouts in partnership with FP&A.
- Coordinate employment branding efforts to help showcase our culture and represent TA in culture building activities.
- Support various Talent Acquisition projects including but not limited to process improvements, reporting, and ATS improvements including integration with HRIS.
- Collaborate with recruiters and People Ops to improve recruiting processes and efficiency.
- Serve as main point of contact for new and ongoing immigrations requests in partnership with outside immigration counsel.
- Organize and participate review of new vendor relationships.
- Provide additional support to the TA or HR team as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field with 6+ years of Talent Acquisition experience.
- Experience implementing new MSP program with continuous improvement.
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal immigration law including managing immigration activities.
- Highly organized and detail oriented with a focus on quality is a must.
- Ability to contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks.
- Great verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and team player.
- Ability to professionally handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience launching and managing relocation program.
- Launching and supporting University Relations program experience highly desirable (establishing connection and program support)
