Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 + bonus
Location: Montgomery County, PA - Hybrid
Responsibilities as the Manager of Corporate Development include:
- Collaborate with the Director and other team members to execute the company's growth strategy.
- Lead and support financial analysis, including the development of detailed financial models and valuation analysis, to evaluate potential acquisition targets.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective targets, assessing financial, operational, and strategic aspects of the business.
- Engage in legal discussions and negotiations, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and mitigating risks.
- Drive business development efforts by identifying and prospecting potential acquisition targets that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Manage deal processes from initiation to closure, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors as necessary.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, overseeing their work on projects and fostering their professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acquired businesses post-transaction, ensuring seamless transition and value realization.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and board review.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the corporate development function, implementing best practices and optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements as the Manager of Corporate Development include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from a reputable institution.
- Post MBA preferred, CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in investment banking or private equity, or 3+ years in corporate development or transaction services.
- Strong financial modeling skills and experience running projects and due diligence.
- Experience in services and industrial sectors preferred.
