· HVAC renovation project that the individual should have - ten years of experience
· HVAC renovation – institutional or college campuses type environment
· Per diem – can expense for tolls, congestion, find someone close to project
o Can cover the train expenses if taking a train to site
· Peak period of construction there is possibility of OT
· Contract length – 12 months with potential to extend after – not more than 24 months
· Start date: January 27 – can be mid or late February– need offer acceptance by end of the month however– onboarding completed by January 27
· Top qualifications – Mechanical experience, knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, understanding of what it takes to complete projects in operational facility – rigging, sequencing, scheduling of activities – coordinated through subcontractor – safety is a big one here, need safety experience, crane picks – 10 story building in Brooklyn, coordination of subcontractors, NYC department of cranes, permitting
· Downtown Brooklyn area – look in that area
· Solid construction, mechanical construction experience are additional skills
· Interpersonal strong skills, Project Manager on client side is eastern European – can understand client needs without getting flustered
· HVAC controls – not primary focus, it is an interface – managing the install not so designing – managing subcontractors, being able to understand scope, budget, etc.
· Dormitory authority experience would be nice to have – party they are coordinating with, identifying risks
· This is operational and engineering campus building
· Approved 100% ready to go – signed contract yesterday, about as close to end – need counter signature – 99% on tracks
· How involved is end client going to be: on site PM and APM – keep in mind they are doing a project for NYC college of technology – part of city university of NY
