Job Advertisement: Project Engineer/Structural Engineer

4 to 10 Years of Experience

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer/Structural Engineer to join our growing team. As part of our dynamic firm, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects in industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Design Build, Healthcare, Hospitality, Residential, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate directly with clients to understand their project needs and expectations.
• Lead and manage staff, ensuring timely and successful project completion.
• Visit job sites to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure quality.
• Perform structural calculations for both new and existing buildings.
• Develop structural drawings and construction documents with minimal direction.

Required Qualifications:

• 4 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Strong technical competence and proficiency with building codes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and produce high-quality construction documents independently.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience managing teams of engineers and collaborating directly with clients.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software.
• MS degree with an emphasis in structural engineering.
• PE registration in California .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with design and evaluation of wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and post-tensioned systems.
• Familiarity with REVIT software.
• Experience in performing seismic evaluations and loss estimates/PMLs.
• SE registration in California.
