About the Role:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and scaling the backend systems that power our client’s innovative healthcare platform. You’ll work closely with a talented engineering and product team to develop robust, scalable, and secure systems that enhance the patient experience and support the company’s rapid growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and build backend services, data pipelines, and APIs to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage and enhance core systems, including databases, integrations, scheduling tools, and distributed architectures.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold engineering excellence through code reviews and technical leadership.
• Shape technical strategy and contribute to the product’s future direction.

Who You Are:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (preferably AWS )
• Familiarization with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker.
• Proven experience delivering scalable systems and taking features from concept to deployment.
• Skilled in maintaining and improving large-scale codebases.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator with a passion for innovation in healthcare.
• Experience with Redis is a plus
