Responsibilities
• Manage the CEO’s calendar, travel, and logistics to ensure efficiency and time
management. Prioritize and schedule appointments, ensuring alignment with key initiatives.
• Proactively anticipate the CEO’s needs and take the initiative in managing critical tasks,
solving problems, and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.
• Act as the primary point of contact for board members, investors, and other key
stakeholders. Coordinate meetings, prepare materials, and assist with follow-up
correspondence.
• Draft and proofread high-level correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the
CEO. Ensure clear, professional, and timely communication with internal and external
parties.
• Organize and manage key meetings, including board meetings, investor calls, and high-level
team discussions. Ensure agendas are prepared, minutes are taken, and follow-up actions
are tracked.
• Assist in managing special projects and initiatives as directed by the CEO, ensuring all
deadlines are met and progress is tracked.
• Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism, ensuring
confidentiality at all times.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key stakeholders, including
investors, board members, and senior executives. Represent the CEO in a highly
professional manner.
• Partner with culture team to support coordinating office events as needed.
Qualifications
B.S. or M.S. degree and 10 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar
role supporting-suite executives. Familiarity with corporate governance and investor reporting is a plus.
B.S. degree and 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role supporting-suite executives in life sciences and startup environment.
