Our client is a well-established company with decades of expertise, known for its innovation and rapid growth in its field. Operating across the UK and US, they specialize in creating products that cater to various customer needs. They are looking for a Field Engineer who will play a critical part in deploying and maintaining our client’s IT infrastructure across multiple locations, ensuring seamless operations and minimal downtime for our teams. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Field Engineer’s Responsibilities and Duties

• Execute the rollout of IT infrastructure and services at new locations weekly.
• Provide prompt, comprehensive support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, network connectivity, and more.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance visits to existing locations.
• Install and configure various IT equipment, including standard and bespoke hardware, often requiring hands-on tasks like drilling and mounting.

Field Engineer’s Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in an IT field engineer or similar role.
• Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and domain services, including Active Directory, Azure, Intune, and Group Policy.
• Hands-on expertise in installing and troubleshooting IT hardware and software.
• Physical capability to perform tasks such as drilling and mounting equipment.
