Our client is a regulated organization serving nearly half a million customers in New York State. They are committed to driving economic growth, improving operational reliability, and promoting efficient cost management. They are looking for a Director of Technology . This person would work under the Manager of Technology providing guidance, strategy, and oversight for our client’s project management as well as changes within the company. This is a hybrid position based in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Director of Technology’s Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide leadership to the project management office team and adopt a culture of collaboration, excellence, and constant improvement.
• Develop and employ project management and OCM procedures, standards, tools, templates, and best practices to ensure stable, high-quality project deliveries.
• Work in partnership with senior leadership to complete the Technology strategic portfolio and guarantee project alignment with business priorities.
• Direct the identification, allocation, forecasting, and utilization of project resources, including project managers, analysts, testers, and support staff, to ensure effective project execution.

Director of Technology’s Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Certification in Project Management or related discipline.
• Professional experience building or managing a project management office.
• Previous experience with enterprise software implementations (SAP, Workday, Oracle, etc.).
