Job Title: BIRST System Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced BIRST System Specialist to manage and optimize the BIRST
Business Intelligence (BI) platform. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining
BI solutions that drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate
brings a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of
business intelligence concepts.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Skills:

• Proficient in BIRST BI tools, including advanced data modeling and dashboard/report development.
• Skilled in SQL for managing relational databases and querying large-scale datasets.
• Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) used for deploying BIRST.

Functional Skills:

• Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts, KPIs, and data visualization principles.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to derive meaningful insights.

Collaboration and Support:

• Partner with IT, data engineers, and business teams to align BI solutions with organizational objectives.
• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.

Qualifications
Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

• 3-4 years of experience with BIRST or comparable BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Hands-on experience managing and analyzing large, complex datasets.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
