Founding Engineer - IC Start-up Engineering Leader - Chattanooga, Tennessee - Hybrid - Pre Seed Start-up - Fintech - Healthcare - Compliance Product - Up to $150k starting salary + Equity

TDL are partnered with a first of it's kind to market, Fintech and Healthcare compliance product start-up. They're pre seed early stage with a team of around 5 and looking to make their crucial first full time technical hire. You'll initially be a hands on IC but progress through to Eng Leader / CTO and hire a team underneath to help scale the product. Current team is a Founder, Fractional CTO, Ops/Staff head and 2 offshore devs.

They are looking for experience in the following:

Strong Communication and collaboration skills

Exposure to any compliance heavy industry projects (Fintech, Healthcare etc)

Interest in going from IC to Leader/CTO in a flexible but potentially short time period

Experience with 3rd party Integrations (Slack, Chrome extensions etc)

Solid understanding of database design, architecture, and AWS/Digital Ocean

Strong experience with their stack Python Django and NextJs

Experience working on commercial or personal AI projects using current tools/frameworks (LLM, Langchain etc)

Starting salary and Equity package up to $150k and 1% but plans to increase post seed funding raise over next 12-18 months.

Ideally this company are looking for candidates based locally to Chattanooga, Atlanta or Nashville or can do some kind of hybrid working. Local would be a few days per week, slightly further afield could be a few days every 2 weeks or 1 week every month etc. This is flexible.
