In this role, the Scientist II, Process Development will contribute to the advancement of protein purification processes, playing a key part in our development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and analyze studies under the direction and guidance of management.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field.
- Make recommendations to management and ensure project goals and criteria are scientifically sound.
- Collaborate with various departments such as Process Development (PD), Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs (RA), and Quality as needed.
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise and provide innovative, business-focused solutions to support process improvement and development initiatives.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Utilize statistical analysis for data interpretation.
Education Requirements:
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in biochemistry, chemical engineering, biophysics, biology, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience in process development or protein purification.
Experience Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience developing protein purification processes.
- 0-5 years of experience working in a GMP environment.
