ProPak Solutions designs & assembles packaged mechanical systems to specifications for our customers. We provide dependable, fully integrated solutions that reduce installation time and risk, with a focus on reducing installation time and footprint. Our packaged products include mechanical and plumbing piping and control systems for commercial and industrial systems.
Scope:
The Construction Project Manager focuses on projects from engineering turnover through warranty, including coordination with the shop throughout the build process and interacting with the customer during shipping and project startup.
Who We Are Looking For
ProPak Solutions is a developing company looking for an innovative person who can grow within this position. This person should have a Construction Management or HVAC background, and will work with the fabrication shop in problem solving and creating and executing project plans. This person must be self-motivated, look to develop their role and improve efficiencies throughout all processes and increase technical knowledge and abilities.
Responsibilities
Construction Management
- Participate in project kickoff meetings.
- Procure equipment required for project and monitor delivery schedule.
- Coordinate with shop labor and required subcontractors for project completion.
- Maintain project schedule.
- Update Project Management database.
- Review and approve invoices. Review purchasing to ensure most efficient prices and service.
- Utilize engineering documents to respond to shop questions regarding fabrication.
- Develop familiarity with 3D modeling software to review documents.
- Supervise commissioning and checkout of completed projects including mechanical, electrical, and controls.
- Coordinate shipping finished projects to customers and startup.
- Create closeout documents including as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals.
Process Improvement
- Develop and improve processes as the company continues to grow.
- Work with engineering and production staff to improve communication and efficiencies.
Engineering
- Learn the engineering basics for hydronic systems.
- Learn electrical & control system basics.
- Understand sequence of operations and be able to commission completed mechanical, electrical, and control systems to ensure compliance.
Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Technical background in HVAC or Construction Management (Degree Preferred); Ability to Multi-Task; Strong Desire to Learn and take on responsibility; Great People Skills; Detail Oriented.
