Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Lewisville, Texas
Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled and results-driven IT Project Manager to lead and deliver projects in client’s technology and telecommunications sector.
- This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing complex initiatives while ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with strategic objective s.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional communication skill s, and expertise in project management methodologies within a technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in line with strategic objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules with clear milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate resources across internal and external teams for flawless project execution.
- Manage project budgets , track expenses , and ensure adherence to approved cost limits.
- Monitor project progress , address risks , and provide regular updates to stakeholders .
- Lead project meetings, including status reviews, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations.
- Foster effective communication across cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.
- Apply project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, based on project needs.
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within the telecommunications, IT, or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects with high attention to detail and timelines.
- Proficient in methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall .
- Expertise in defining objectives, developing plans, managing risks, and tracking deliverables .
- Communication and Leadership: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills for fostering team collaboration and building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana) and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams).
- Basic understanding of telecommunications concepts , network infrastructure, and digital transformation.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
- Nice-to-Haves : Advanced technical knowledge in areas like 5G, IoT, cloud solutions, or network infrastructure.
- Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster or PMI-ACP ).
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certifications .
- Experience managing large-scale, global projects, particularly in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
- Understanding of global compliance standards in telecommunications.
- Master’s degree in project management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Office-based role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
