Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Manager to oversee Business as Usual (BAU) operations for multiple critical applications. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless updates to infrastructure, vendor products, and in-house developed applications. As a key point of escalation, you will collaborate with various teams to manage application security, coordinate upgrades, and ensure operational excellence.

Location: Kennesaw, GA; Chicago, IL; Richmond, VA

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee BAU operations for multiple applications, ensuring timely updates and maintenance.
• Coordinate with business, infrastructure, PROD Support, and vendors for server and software upgrades.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for application/product issues and coordinate resolutions with the PROD Support team.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new applications/vendor products by managing intake requests.
• Collaborate with network and security teams to address application security gaps and ensure remediation.
• Manage minor paperwork related to releases, with content provided by Scrum Masters/BAs.
• Act as a liaison among various teams to raise appropriate intake/action requests.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 7+ years of project management experience, specifically in application development projects (not infrastructure).
• Proven experience managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in managing server and software upgrades.
• Demonstrated expertise in onboarding new applications.
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading entire projects, not just components.
• Experience in UI development processes and release management.
• Financial industry experience is essential.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
