JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for various Human Resources functions. This includes a variety of responsibilities such as: record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry, miscellaneous administrative functions, leave tracking, benefits administration, staffing, retention and recruitment, compensation analysis, performance management, workplace safety compliance, and employee leave administration. Participates in employee relations activities.
REQUIREMENTS
*Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
*2+ years of experience in a Human Resources role
JOB DUTIES
*Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions
*Prepares job descriptions to meet organizational recruitment, ADAAA and salary administration needs.
*Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
*Administer leaves of absence (i.e., worker's compensation, FMLA, FCA, OFLA, PLO, USSERA, etc.), tracking time and compliance with necessary documentation.
*Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
*Maintain the records necessary to demonstrate the impact of their functional area
*Maintain confidentiality and conduct periodic file audits in accordance with federal, state and local laws
*Create and submit reports to senior management
*Formulating methods to improve employment policies, processes and practices and recommend changes.
*Performing special projects and other duties as assigned

PAY
*$21.86 - $38.34 per hour
