Role Description
The Director of Human Resources is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organization. The Director will be responsible for overseeing HR policies, managing employee relations, performance management strategies, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. This is a full-time on-site role at the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND.
Qualifications
- Experience in Human Resources (HR) management and compliance
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Experience in benefits administration
- Strong background in managing employee relations
- Proven experience in performance management
- Familiarity with labor and employment law regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus
