Job Description : The Contract Employee Relations Specialist will provide essential support for a range of employee relations tasks, including administering employee programs, processing unemployment claims, managing employee files, and overseeing financial support programs. This position will ensure the smooth operation of employee-related administrative functions,and contribute to a positive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration of Employee Programs: Administer employee programs and services, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee the financial support program for employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims and documentation.
- Unemployment Claims Processing: Process unemployment claims, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of required information to the relevant authorities.
- Work with the HR team to review and respond to claims, and assist in managing potential appeals.
- Preparation of Employee Files:Maintain and prepare employee files for audits, inquiries, or other requests, ensuring that all records are complete and compliant with hospital policies and legal requirements.
- Employee Terminations:Process employee terminations, including the completion of all necessary documentation (e.g., exit forms, final pay, benefits processing) in compliance with hospital policies.
- Ensure that all termination paperwork is thoroughly reviewed and filed according to hospital procedures.
- Email Inbox Monitoring & Support:Monitor the HR team’s email inbox and respond to general employee inquiries in a timely manner.
- Triage and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members or departments as necessary.
- Data Entry & Record Management:Accurately enter employee-related data into the HRIS system or other relevant databases.
- Ensure that records are up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with all regulatory requirements.
Perform additional administrative tasks related to employee relations and HR operations as assigned.
Assist with special projects, data analysis, or reporting as required by the HR department
