Our client is a highly renowned retail company, with an impressive brand portfolio, based in NYC. They are seeking a Vice President of Employee Relations to join their team! This position is hybrid with 4 days onsite at their Midtown, Manhattan office.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new employee relations strategies
• Ensure compliance with all employee relations policies (labor laws and regulations)
• Oversee workplace investigations
• Ensure confidentiality to the highest degree
• Find a fair resolution to employee disputes
• Enhance employee morale
• Provide mediation as needed
• Develop conflict resolution and communication training programs
• Address workplace issues and risks
• Lead employee relations team
• Collaborate with other business leaders to align company goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 10+ years' experience in employee relations
• Familiarity with multi-state HR laws
• Experience within fashion or retail a plus
• Expert knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
• Experience managing a diverse workforce

Salary Range: $195,000 - $220,000 based on experience
