The UAT Tester Intern will assist in ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance of websites before they are launched. As a paid intern, you will work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to support the creation and execution of user acceptance test plans, identify and document issues, and validate that websites meet business and user requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) plans for websites.
- Perform functional, usability, and performance testing to ensure website quality.
- Test websites across different browsers and devices to validate responsiveness.
- Identify, document, and report bugs or issues with clear and detailed descriptions.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
- Support the validation of new features and fixes to ensure they align with user needs.
- Provide feedback on user experience to improve website functionality and design.
- Learn and apply testing tools and techniques under the guidance of the team.
Minimum Education:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Coursework or projects related to web development, software testing, or quality assurance is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills gained through academic or extracurricular experiences.
