About the Company - A new role with an EPC Client based in West Houston has become available where they are looking for a Process Engineer with upstream and ideally offshore experience to work on an initial 9-12 month contract. The role is paying between $75+ per hour dependent on experience.
About the Role - You will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of oil and gas production and upstream facilities. This includes working on new installations, as well as upgrades and retrofits of existing onshore and offshore facilities. The successful candidate will play a critical role in process engineering across a range of domestic and international projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed process design for oil and gas production, gas processing, gas treating, and related utility systems.
- Develop Design Basis criteria from client-provided information to guide project development.
- Recommend and evaluate alternative processing concepts to improve design efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform process simulations and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) with accompanying stream tables.
- Develop and review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) or mechanical flow sheets to reflect system design.
Project Involvement
- Oil & gas production, gas processing, gas treating, and related processes.
- Domestic and international projects, both onshore and offshore.
- Pre-Front End Engineering Design (PreFEED) conceptual design and selection studies.
- Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering (DE).
Pay range and compensation package - Hourly rate ranging from $75+
