THE ROLE – STAFF FRONTEND ENGINEER

As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the user experience and interfaces for novel healthcare applications. Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate product requirements into scalable and efficient frontend solutions.
• Developing user-facing features using Next.js and ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Implementing automated testing to ensure reliability and code quality.
• Optimizing application performance and addressing frontend bottlenecks.
• Staying up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and contributing to process improvements.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and experience with frameworks such as Tailwind and Prisma.
• Experience in frontend web development, with a strong focus on Next.js.
• Deep understanding of frontend principles, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and pixel-perfect design implementation.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Interest in blockchain technology.
• Previous experience in the healthcare industry or early-stage startups is a plus.

BENEFITS

This role offers a competitive base salary of $160,000 - $180,000, alongside significant equity.
