Equipment Quality Engineer (Product Transfer Validation)

Location: Chandler, Arizona (85226) - Remote option with potential travel to sites/suppliers 20%

Duration: Contract estimated to end: 1/19/2026 (Contract extension expectation )

Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)

Pay: Negotiable depending on direct-related experience

Work Authorization: Must be currently in the United States with active employment authorization documents.


This is an individual contributor role


Job Summary:

  • Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed.
  • Designs and installs sophisticated testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates.
  • Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs.


Job Duties:

In this role, you will work within the QA Shared Services Product Transfer Team, responsible for quality related activities as it applies to Product Transfer, these include but not limited to the following:

  • Supporting all transfers globally, (Supplier to Supplier, Supplier to Company, Company to Supplier, Company to Company)
  • Having knowledge of and ability to provide interpretation and guidance on Regulations, Corporate and Site Local procedures as they relate to quality activities such as FMEA, MSA’s, Validations and Qualifications.
  • Point of contact for quality for Product transfers at Scoping, Planning and Execution phases
  • Enable successful completion of Product transfer to achieve its quality, cost and time requirements
  • Provide expertise for at least 1 quality specialty associated with Product transfer
  • Be able to identify PT quality risks/gaps and provide solutions to correct
  • Product Transfer Independent Reviewer as required
  • Supports Product Transfer Process training where required
  • Provides feedback to lessons learnt for each completed Product transfer


Requirements:

Degree Required:

  • Bachelor of Science, Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience in validation
  • Masters of Science, Engineering 2 years of experience in validation


Top Required Skills:

  • Experience in Equipment Validation
  • General Quality Assurance experience in life sciences (pfmea, control plans, metrology etc),
  • Product Transfer
  • Excellent engineering and machine tools fundamentals
