Onsite Service Engineer (Electromechanical Equipment Technician)

The Role:
- The Onsite Service Engineer is responsible for providing product support and technical know-how to customers at assigned customer sites. Diagnoses and remedies faults, performs preventative maintenance, installs and commissions of Edwards products. Completes all tasks with precision while ensuring safe practices are upheld.
What We Expect of You?
- Use electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers.
- Performs installation and troubleshooting on vacuum pumps, abatement, gas, and chemical delivery systems to maintain and increase revenue for both service and sales divisions.
- Participates in site safety programs to create a zero-hazard environment.
- Works professionally and develops customer relationships.
- Demonstrates ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Understands and adheres to all site fab and Subfab protocol requirements.
- Understands the use of test equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools.
- Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance, collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Respectfully takes direction from supervisor/manager and other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma.
- Requires an Associate's degree, military or 2-3 years of equivalent experience may substitute for education requirement.
Relevant Previous experience
- 1-3 years of equivalent experience in relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum.

- Must have a positive attitude, be energetic and enthusiastic, and possess a strong willingness to learn and a commitment to excellence.
- A self-starter who can set priorities, demonstrate initiative and the ability to get the job done. Must be capable of following instructions and exercising good independent judgment when appropriate.
- Possesses excellent customer interfacing and communication skills.
- Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams. Competent in the use of test equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools. Possesses basic computer skills which includes thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- May be required to work in confined or awkward spaces for extended periods of time. Will be required to complete training to work at height using approved fall protection equipment.
- Successful completion of Physical Capability assessment Drug screen required.
- Fluency in written and spoken English. Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly.
