Location: Denver, CO
Pay Range : $21.00-$24.50
3 shifts available :
- M-W, Saturday 3:00pm – 1:30 am
- Wednesday – Saturday 3:00pm – 1:30 am
- Thursday – Sunday 10:00pm - 8:30 am
Key Responsibilities-
- Conduct analytical tests across various laboratory specialties, adhering to prescribed protocols and calculating results as needed.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers, including performing performance checks and addressing basic malfunctions.
- Prepare reagents or media following established procedures and evaluate their quality against predefined criteria.
- Perform quality control processes for tests, equipment, reagents, and media, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Assist in determining performance specifications for new testing methods and validating assays.
- Monitor and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement programs to uphold laboratory standards.
- Maintain compliance with laboratory safety programs and regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Utilize laboratory information systems to accurately report and document results while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure all tasks align with the company's quality management system, emphasizing good documentation practices, training, and accurate recordkeeping.
Minimum Qualifications-
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
- 0-2 years of related experience in a clinical or laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical technology principles, methods, and equipment, as well as foundational concepts in chemistry, biology, and bacteriology.
- Ability to follow established procedures, accurately document test results, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Effective communication skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail in performing routine and quality control tasks.
