The Research Associate will be primarily responsible for developing and performing in vitro assays to support vaccine discovery efforts. The role may also involve in vivo animal studies, so experience in this area is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize and execute novel in vitro assays to evaluate vaccine candidates.
- Properly document and report experimental findings and assay protocols.
- Comply with all laboratory safety requirements and protocols.
- Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to new skills and techniques as needed.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Biology, Biochemistry, Virology, or related discipline with two years of post-graduation experience, or MA/MS in Biology or related discipline. NO PHD
- Experience in tissue culture, molecular biology, or in vitro assays.
- Strong collaborative skills and attention to detail.
- Years of Experience: 1-2 years in a related field.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Design, development, and execution of in vitro assays.
- Industry experience or MS.
- Experience working with RNA.
- In vivo small animal handling experience.
Contract
Pay: Up to 28/hr
