Are you organized, resourceful, and ready to play a key role in supporting quality healthcare? We have an amazing opportunity across our two new and cutting-edge ambulatory surgical centers in the Central and West parts of Portland.
We are looking for a dynamic Materials Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory, and vendor relations in our fast-paced ambulatory surgical centers.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the purchasing and pricing of equipment and supplies to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory of medical supplies, implants, and pharmaceuticals.
- Review invoices for accounts payable and ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to get the best deals and services.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of purchasing experience. Scrub Tech experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- People Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, staff, and vendors.
- Physical Abilities: Comfortable with mobility (standing/walking) and occasional pushing or lifting of supplies.
