Responsibilities include writing, revising, organizing, planning, summarizing, editing, and proofreading technical documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and create content using technical writing theories, methods, and tools.
• Clearly and accurately summarize technical information and conclusions in documents.
• Assist with administrative authoring tasks, including routing documents for approvals and ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Ensure content quality by managing and organizing information for accuracy, consistency, and readability.
• Review and peer-edit the work of other writers to uphold high-quality standards within the technical writing group.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the product development team and other departments to gather source material and understand products and processes.
• Identify, analyze, recommend, and implement innovative solutions to improve technical writing processes and practices.
• Maintain compliance with all quality requirements and integrate quality into all aspects of work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2-5 years of experience.
• Technical writing experience in the medical device or other regulated industries is highly preferred.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Adaptability and innovation in a dynamic environment.

Additional Job Requirements

• Experience with content management or labeling systems.
• Proficiency in desktop publishing tools, preferably InDesign and other Adobe tools.
• Ability to navigate and operate within complex processes.
• Experience in technical writing for translated documentation.
