Job Summary
Homeland is partnering with an acute care hospital in Arizona that specializes in a wide range of comprehensive healthcare services, including imaging, cardiac rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary, emergency services, hospice, infusion care, laboratory, orthopedics, wound care, pharmacy, and more.
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join their team. This role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, DEXA exams, and occasional clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will bring digital mammography expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality imaging services with compassion and efficiency in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care standards
- Conduct needle localizations and stereotactic biopsies as required
- Perform DEXA exams to assess bone density
- Handle clerical tasks, including patient scheduling, record-keeping, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain professional and effective communication with patients, staff, and physicians
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT RT (R) (M) certification required
- Valid CRT and CMT (AZ) license required
- CPR certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Digital mammography experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and always maintain professionalism
Additional Information
Our client offers a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for candidates with 2+ years of experience and a $5,000 relocation package for eligible applicants.
