The Architectural Designer is responsible for site/civil design for sports facilities and sports complexes. The professional in this role should have a degree in Landscape Architecture and be able to provide field surveys, conduct topographic surveys, perform land development and architectural concept plans and perform the design and construction administration for athletic projects including synthetic and natural fields and support facilities, school campus concept plans and architectural space planning.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture
- Minimum of 3 years of related professional sports design experience required
- Registered Landscape Architect preferred
- Experience with storm water management design and permitting
- Strong design and problem-solving skills
- Experience with parks and outdoor recreation facilities preferred
- Ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously in a team environment with teammates in multiple offices
- Excellent communication, technical, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel to multiple job sites is required
