Product Owner


Nymbl is a leading fall prevention and balance training platform that partners with Medicare Advantage health plans to improve mobility, reduce falls, and lower healthcare costs for older adults. Our platform delivers measurable cost savings, boosts Stars ratings, and enhances member retention by keeping individuals healthier and more engaged. Our scientifically validated digital balance training program empowers older adults to maintain and improve their mobility using their smartphones, helping them lead fuller, more independent lives.


We are seeking a dynamic Product Owner to join our lean, fast-paced team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with and report directly to our CEO , contributing to the development and enhancement of our digital platform. Your work will be instrumental in improving the lives of older adults while advancing our mission-driven, outcomes-focused organization. This position requires accountability for product objectives, including feature development, analytics management, prioritization of key initiatives, and working with users to drive the company’s mission and goals forward.



Your Responsibilities Will Include:


Backlog Management:

  • Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog.
  • Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Continuously refine and adjust the backlog based on feedback and changing priorities.


Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team.
  • Gather and prioritize requirements from customers, stakeholders, and market research.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with the product vision.


Development Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the development team during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide clear direction and resolve questions or ambiguities about requirements.
  • Ensure the team understands the “why” behind features and tasks.


Value Delivery:

  • Prioritize work to maximize the value delivered to the customer and business.
  • Define and track product success metrics (e.g., KPIs).
  • Ensure timely delivery of features that meet customer needs and market demand.


Market and User Focus:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  • Understand and represent the voice of the customer.
  • Ensure the product meets compliance, legal, and quality standards.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor product performance and gather user feedback for future iterations.
  • Advocate for improvements to existing features or technical debt.
  • Assisting in product testing, analysis and diagnosis


Agile Process Management:

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies like sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of the Scrum or Agile framework within the team.

Compensation and Benefits:


The salary range for this position is $80,000 - 100,000 . Nymbl covers 100% of the premium for our bronze United HealthCare medical health plan for you and your dependents. We also cover 80% of the dental and vision insurance premiums for employees. Additionally, Nymbl covers 100% of the premiums for life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability. We offer a flexible PTO policy and a 401(k) match.


We prefer candidates based in Denver, CO, to collaborate in person at our office at least once a week. However, we are open to exceptional remote candidates who demonstrate a strong fit for the position.
