Job Title: Industrial Mechanical Technician

Location: 1200 Anderson Corner Rd, Parma, ID 83660 United States

Schedule(s): 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled tasks and repairs to equipment as required from breakdowns.
• Demonstrate a team-oriented demeanor conducive to all clients goals.

• Receive regular supervision and work within established routines and instructions.
• Perform some work crane-assisted and at elevated heights.
• Collaborate with maintenance supervision, other technicians, engineers, and production personnel to design plant equipment and modifications.
• Improve equipment reliability by maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and utilizing all available resources; report findings to supervision with appropriate recommendations.
• Support, maintain, and improve the preventive maintenance and Mechanical Integrity Program to ensure equipment reliability.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for production demands; willingness to work overtime, on-call, after hours, and weekends as needed.
• Actively participate in plant safety meetings and work within client site and corporate procedures.
• Must be team-oriented with a willingness to learn and further develop technical skills.
• Utilize general shop equipment, such as band saws, drill presses, grinders, and power hand tools.

Responsible for the Repair and Maintenance of:

• Mechanical seals
• Gear boxes
• Drive couplings
• Agitators
• Pumps
• Rigging
• Welding and pipe fabrication

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of related industrial maintenance experience.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

General Physical Requirements:

• Requires lifting up to 70 lbs and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Requires bending, kneeling, squatting, and crawling.
• Requires wrist turning and finger manipulation.
• Requires the ability to climb vertical, fixed ladders with ladder cages.
• Requires the ability to climb portable step and extension ladders.
• Requires the ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Requires the ability to twist, turn, and reach above shoulder level.
• Requires simple to firm grasping ability.
• Requires the ability to work within hazardous locations.
