CBTS is currently seeking a Controls Engineer for a position located in Cincinnati, OH.

Summary:

• Program PLCs to support MHE equipment operations
• Interface with customers to determine system requirements
• Support electrical installation via interfacing to electrical installers
• Debug electrical installation of controls and motor components
• Support system post installation for customer service
• Support after hours customer calls
• Travel is between 65-80%

Experience:

• Experience programming PLCs to support Material Handling Equipment (i.e., conveyors, sorters, automated storage and retrieval systems, order picking technologies, and print/apply and weighing systems) operations within a distribution center.
• Understanding equipment requirements, business and customer requirements that drive the design of the technical solutions.
• Must have exp using Ladder Logic Programming skills to develop PLC software for complex machines and systems via communications interface to external systems such as servers, scanners, scales, etc.
