Controls Engineer (65 – 90K)

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to work for a World Class Manufacturer near the Rome, NY area.

As part of the Central Engineering Team you will focus on capital projects and complex plant equipment troubleshooting.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Design machine control systems using AutoCAD. Sizing and selection of VSD’s filters, motors, protection devices, PLC’s, HMI’s
• Edit, modify, and program Allen Bradley PLC’s
• Manage the installation and commissioning of machinery (25% travel to local facilities)
• Provide technical support to maintenance (troubleshooting and upgrades)

Education and Experience :

• BSEE, BSEET or related and 0-5 years of experience
• Will also consider an AAS degree and 5+ years of experience
• Experience with PLC’s, HMI’s and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code and machine safety standard
