STA Engineers

We are seeking a skilled CPU/System Benchmarking Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in benchmarking and testing within Linux and Windows environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in benchmarking across various domains, including network, storage, and CPU. Familiarity with the SERT benchmark and power policies is preferred, and prior experience with UCS Compute is a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Benchmarking Expertise: Conduct CPU and system benchmarking activities to evaluate and optimize performance in Linux and Windows environments.

Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive testing procedures to identify performance bottlenecks, analyze results, and recommend improvements.

Multi-Domain Benchmarking: Perform benchmarking across multiple domains, including network, storage, and CPU, to ensure holistic performance assessment.

SERT Benchmark: Utilize familiarity with the SERT benchmark to assess system performance accurately.

Power Policy Evaluation: Assess and optimize power policies to enhance system efficiency and performance.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of benchmarking and testing processes, results, and recommendations.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance enhancement opportunities and implement solutions.

UCS Compute (Desirable): While not essential, prior experience with UCS Compute is desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
