About Domance Glamping: At Domance Glamping, we specialize in creating luxurious outdoor experiences that seamlessly blend the beauty of nature with boutique comfort. Our thoughtfully crafted glamping units offer privacy, relaxation, and a connection to the outdoors, making every stay unforgettable.
As we expand, we’re seeking a creative and skilled architect to help us build innovative glamping units, design exceptional site layouts, and create interiors that reflect our unique brand. We are currently focused on romantic getaways but are expanding into family-focused sub-brands, and we’re looking for a passionate architect to grow with us.
Key Responsibilities:
Design: Develop innovative and sustainable glamping units, site layouts, and communal spaces that align with Domance Glamping’s vision.
Software Expertise: Utilize advanced design tools such as Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce detailed plans, 3D renderings, and blueprints.
Site Visits: Conduct regular visits to Texas job sites (e.g., Wills Point) to oversee progress, address challenges, and ensure quality and compliance.
Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.
Materials: Research and specify materials that balance aesthetics, durability, and sustainability.
Interiors: Create cozy, stylish interiors, including furniture, lighting, and décor, to elevate the guest experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project goals efficiently.
Project Management: Oversee multiple projects under tight deadlines, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
Landscaping: Plan and design outdoor areas, incorporating thoughtful resort site planning to enhance guest experiences and maximize natural beauty.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or higher degree.
Experience: At least 8 years of experience in architectural design, including site planning, interiors. landscaping design is a plus.
Software Proficiency: Expertise in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and permitting processes.
Location: Based in Texas or willing to travel to job sites across the state.
