Job Title: Lean Portfolio Manager

Location: San Antonio, TX or Plano, TX

Length : 12-month contract


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lean Portfolio Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Lean Portfolio Management and a strong background in Agile methodologies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align overarching strategies, guide executives in setting key results, and facilitate measurable milestones and work efforts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and communicate at the executive level, ensuring alignment with the overarching strategy.
  • Guide executives in setting and achieving key results through effective facilitation and coaching.
  • Ensure measurable milestones and work efforts are clearly defined and tracked.
  • Leverage SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) experience to guide and support Agile teams.
  • Maintain and update objectives and key results (OKRs) in Clarity, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are engaged and compliant.
  • Collaborate closely with other Lean Portfolio Managers and Agile teams to ensure seamless execution of portfolio initiatives.
  • Provide expertise in corporate Privacy Office work and Enterprise Resiliency, with a focus on both software and corporate/physical security.


Required Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer, Agile Project Manager, Portfolio Manager, or Program Manager.
  • Certification as a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in strategy alignment and executive coaching.
  • Experience with SAFe Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) is beneficial.
  • Advanced Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with corporate Privacy Office work and Enterprise Resiliency.
  • Proficiency in using Clarity for portfolio management.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new industries and environments.
