Summary
Our client is seeking two Employment Attorneys for their New York, NY office. The first opening is for a Senior Attorney with a minimum of 8 years of experience, while the second is for a Mid-Level Attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience. Both positions are non-partnership track roles.

Responsibilities
Will be handling litigation management, legal research, legal drafting, and other litigation-related tasks for a class action as well as single-plaintiff cases, including but not limited to matters involving alleged failure to pay wages and/or bonuses, off-the-clock work, misclassification, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, and wrongful termination. Will also be handling employment law advice and counsel matters; drafting and negotiation of employment, termination/severance, and related agreements; and may also conduct employment due diligence and advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions. Other advice subjects include restrictive covenants, employee mobility, compensation practices, commission plans, and employee policies/training. and leave of absence/accommodations (FMLA, ADA) issues.
Experience
- Minimum 3 to 8 years of experience in labor and employment, including litigation, advice and counsel, and transactional work.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including wage and hour laws, discrimination laws, and practice before state and federal court and administrative agencies.
- Experience in the defense of class and collective actions, providing day-to-day advice and counsel to our wide range of clients, and support for complex corporate transactions.
