Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to lead and enhance our quality assurance processes in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing quality systems, leading a team, and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and regulations. This role requires a results-driven leader with a strong technical background, proficiency in AS9100 software, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Leadership:

Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with AS9100 or similar aerospace standards.
Drive compliance with customer requirements, industry regulations, and internal quality objectives.
Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and support professional development.
Process and Product Quality:

Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformities.
Drive process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Compliance and Audits:

Plan and execute internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
Maintain compliance with aerospace industry standards, such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAA/EASA requirements.
Supplier Quality Management:

Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to monitor and improve supplier quality performance.
Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes and conduct supplier audits as needed.
Reporting and Metrics:

Establish and monitor quality KPIs, generating regular reports for senior management.
Communicate quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably within the aerospace industry.
Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant aerospace standards and regulations.
Proven experience managing and leading teams.
Hands-on experience with AS9100 software is required.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, and SPC.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) or Lead Auditor Certification.
Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations and aerospace product lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience with quality management software and tools.
