What You’ll Do
- Own Your Portfolio: Take charge of your contracts from start to finish—managing business reviews, analyzing data, presenting opportunities, and identifying risks.
- Find New Opportunities: Continuously hunt for growth areas to expand offerings.
- Drive Excellence: Ensure compliance to the highest standards while managing supplier partnerships.
- Be the Face of the Company: Represent the organization at supplier events, trade shows, and member meetings, sharing its value proposition and building relationships.
What You Bring to the Table
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Marketing, or Management focus is a plus).
- Experience:
- 3+ years in sourcing, negotiating, and demonstrating value propositions.
- A proven record of success in securing new or expanded offerings, ideally in public procurement .
- Skills:
- Exceptional research and database navigation abilities.
- Strong math skills to quantify savings, calculate bids, and define cost-saving opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong Excel expertise .
- Prior experience with bidding processes with higher education is a bonus.
- Flexibility: Regional travel is required for customer and supplier meetings, as well as trade shows and events.
