Hybrid Schedule, Contract role!
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing : Manage bi-monthly payroll processing using Paychex Flex , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- HR/Payroll Support : Act as a key support within the HR and payroll team, addressing inquiries and assisting with daily operations.
- Onboarding and Training : Participate in a structured training schedule, working three days on, two days off (five days per week initially) to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Data Management : Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Compliance and Auditing : Ensure payroll and HR processes align with applicable labor laws and company policies. Conduct audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaboration : Work closely with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience :
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in HR and payroll , ideally within financial services.
- Hands-on experience with Paychex Flex is highly preferred.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Knowledge : Familiarity with labor laws and payroll regulations.
Interpersonal Skills : Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Detail-Oriented : Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
