Director of HR
Location: Suffolk County, Long Island, NY
Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 base, plus relocation assistance

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Director of HR to oversee Compensation, Benefits, Compliance, and HRBP functions for our U.S. operations. This leadership role will be based in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY, with a requirement to be on-site five days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR leadership within large organizations, preferably with manufacturing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compensation Strategy : Lead the development and execution of a competitive total rewards strategy, including market analysis, benchmarking, and recommendations for improvements in compensation programs.
- Compensation Management : Oversee incentive pay, bonuses, and salary reviews, ensuring fairness and alignment with company goals.
- Benefits Program : Lead the design, administration, and vendor management of employee benefits, including overseeing the annual open enrollment process.
- Leave of Absence and Wellness : Manage employee leave of absence processes and employee wellness programs.
- HRBP Support : Provide support to HR Business Partners with day-to-day HR issues and employee relations concerns.
- HR Systems Management : Oversee HR systems (ADP, SuccessFactors), including time-off management and employee data systems, working closely with the corporate office in India.
- Compliance and Reporting : Ensure HR compliance efforts are maintained, including managing internal audits and required reporting.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, including ADP and SuccessFactors.
- Strong critical thinking , attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Advanced Excel skills .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries is a plus.
- Certifications such as CEBS, PHR, SPHR , or CCP are highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of immigration law .
Additional Information:
- This role requires U.S. employment verification and authorization .
