Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic stand-alone Senior HR Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will provide strategic HR support across various HR functions, including employee relations, payroll processing, recruitment, compliance, and training. As a key member of the HR team, you will work closely with management to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and practices, fostering a positive and productive work environment. The Senior HR Generalist will also take a lead role in employee engagement initiatives, HR projects, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution, performance concerns, and company policies.
  • Investigate employee complaints and concerns, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Mediate and facilitate discussions to resolve employee disputes and improve overall workplace dynamics.

Performance Management:

  • Support managers in driving employee performance through goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
  • Conduct performance reviews, assist in identifying training needs, and recommend professional development programs to enhance employee growth.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of performance improvement plans when necessary.

Compliance & Policy Management:

  • Stay up to date with local, state, and federal employment laws, ensuring compliance across HR practices.
  • Update and enforce company policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting for HR compliance, including employee records, benefits, and compensation.

Employee Engagement & Development:

  • Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive company culture.
  • Organize training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance employee skills and foster growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with management on succession planning and talent development strategies.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Assist with compensation and benefits administration, including job evaluations, market salary research, and benefits enrollment.
  • Provide guidance on employee benefits programs and ensure employees are informed about their options.
  • Help maintain accurate records for payroll processing and ensure timely updates to compensation-related data.

HR Projects & Process Improvement:

  • Lead and participate in HR projects that aim to enhance HR efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Continuously assess HR processes and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness and reduce administrative burden.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a proven track record in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and HR compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience with HR software, payroll systems, and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality and professionalism.


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and data analysis tools.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
