Supervises: Transportation (Drivers), Office Staff, Clinical Staff as needed
Report To: Executive Director or Designee
Position Summary : The person in this position will be responsible for supervising all staff providing care. He/she will supervise the coordination of services with outside community agencies or consultants. In addition to staff supervision, this position requires oversight and completion of all required weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports/data for all programs. The person in this position will be responsible for ensuring staff follows all contract requirements, policies and procedures as well as assisting the Executive Director in program and policy development. Essential Job Functions include those listed below. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise and direct all treatment (see above) staff in daily implementation of treatment programs
- Review each employee’s job performance on a yearly basis (or more often if necessary). Make recommendations to Senior Management regarding employee advancement and retention
- Interview, hire and terminate employees with advice and consent from Executive Director, Human Resource Specialist and other staff as appropriate
- Responsible for training or identifying trainings for all treatment staff
- Develop staff work schedule and assign responsibilities to ensure all treatment program services are being provided as contracts require
- Analyze situations and take necessary actions to provide crisis intervention, interpreting and implementing policies and procedures regarding crisis intervention as appropriate
- Acts as Red Ribbon Recovery's Tobacco Education coordinator and HIV/AIDS and Infection Control coordinator
- Ensure competition of all weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports as required
- Complete quality improvements and implementation as required by treatment program contracts
- Responsible for all aspects of treatment for all clients participating in treatment services
- Coordinate client treatment, provide group and individual counseling
- Periodic review of treatment group curriculum
- Assist and make recommendations to Executive team regarding program design, development, and implementation of treatment and transitional programs
- Perform chart audits and file reviews on a monthly basis, initiating corrective action as needed Report to Executive in Charge any unusual incidents or behaviors that could indicate other problems
- Ensure that all required policies and procedures are followed
- Assist Executive team in program and policy development

Education :
• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, counseling or equivalent social services field preferred
• Preferably has licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or CDAC II
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in social services field i.e., substance abuse, residential treatment, etc. preferred
• Attend regular professional education classes/workshops to continuously upgrade job skills or promote the image of the agency
