CV Resources is partnering with a well-established company in the building materials and manufacturing industry to find a talented Controller This key role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring the company’s financial health, and driving strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, ideally within a manufacturing environment, and be adept at managing complex financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation. If you're ready to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth of a thriving business, we encourage you to apply Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the company’s entire financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards. Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, tracking performance against financial targets. Provide detailed financial analysis and strategic insights to senior management to support key business decisions. Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial stakeholders to facilitate smooth audits and ensure adherence to regulations. Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financing activities to optimize financial resources. Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Guide and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes high performance and continuous improvement. Lead audit preparation by organizing schedules, workpapers, and documentation for external auditors. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, with a preference for experience in the manufacturing or building materials sectors. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and inventory management . Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience interpreting complex financial data. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Proven leadership and team-building experience, with a focus on driving results and developing talent. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
